Well, I received my first review today, and it was as solid as I ever could have hoped for. Not only did Kirkus give Jesus Jackson one of their lovely little stars, but the reviewer really managed to capture the meaning and themes that I was attempting to achieve with the book perfectly. As good as it feels to receive a positive review, it feels even better to find out that someone really “gets” what I’m trying to say.
